Emerging from the pandemic

Minnesota’s first COVID-19 case was announced on March 6, 2020, launching a statewide effort to manage a global pandemic across government, health care, public health and economic sectors. Nearly a year later, what are the current steps Minnesota is taking to combat COVID-19 and roll out vaccination across the state? How can health care communicators and marketers plan to emerge from the pandemic?

Join MHSCN on Thursday, Feb. 25, from 12:00-1:30 p.m. to hear from two speakers about where Minnesota is headed and strategies for planning for the future.

Andrea Ahneman, Assistant Public Information Officer for COVID-19 response at the Minnesota Department of Health, will share an overview of the state’s communications planning and strategy around COVID-19 vaccine, including the importance of vaccine education and best practices for tailoring messages for different audiences.

Adam Strupp, Director of RCM and Digital Solutions with MHSCN silver sponsor Professional Office Services, Inc., will present a set of strategies gleaned from focus groups of more than 8,000 health care providers that health care communicators and marketers can use to connect with patients and come back even stronger in 2021.
